History

Humanity is on the verge of extinction. Most of the population has vanished, while those who remain have transformed into soulless anomalies. With the fate of the few surviving humans hanging in the balance, you must venture into the territories these creatures inhabit and recover whatever valuable resources remain. But survival comes at a price. The technology needed to investigate the anomalies is scarce, and merchants will only provide it in exchange for the treasures you recover. Every expedition brings new risks, as you face unpredictable creatures, including grotesquely oversized and aggressive insects. Gather data, uncover the secrets of the anomalies, and do whatever it takes to prevent humanity's complete extinction.
